Yosemite NP, California

Tunnel View is perhaps the most well-known viewpoint in Yosemite. The place got its name from the tunnel entering Yosemite valley. It was made familiar mainly by Ansel Adams in the late 1930's, even though it appeared in a drawing of Thomas A. Ayres as early as 1855.
